If a bachelor's degree is in a field other than journalism or communications, potential employers may prefer the applicant earn a master's degree in journalism. Aspiring news analysts generally also need experience from internships and work at college newspapers or radio and TV stations. Experience with audio, video, multimedia design and graphics may help aspiring broadcasters.
