To find the College Entrance Examination Board code for your college, use the SAT code search at CollegeBoard.org, under SAT. Click Colleges & Scholarships under Select Code Type, enter your college's name and the state it is located in.
Your college may have multiple codes for each of its affiliated schools and programs. For example, Yale University has two CEEB codes: one for the whole university and another just for the school of management pre-MBA leadership program. When in doubt, call your school's admissions office, or visit your college's admissions website.
Virginia Tech publishes its CEEB code on its website, under Admissions. Your college may do the same. Your college or state school system also may feature a CEEB or SAT code search tool on its website. If your college or state school system does not, try using this function at the website of another college or school system that does, such as SUNY.edu or WNE.edu.
The State University of New York and Western New England University are examples of colleges that provide free search tools to locate CEEB codes for colleges within the 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
At SUNY.edu, you may search by your college's name and the city or state of its location. WNE.edu CEEB code search tool is located under Admissions. The link opens a separate page, and you may search by state and city.
