A 12 by 12 multiplication chart can be obtained from RapidTables.com. The chart contains the solutions to multiplication problems from 1 x 1 all the way up to 12 x 12.
Multiplication is performed by adding a number to itself the number of times of a second number. For example, 1 x 4 is equivalent to 1+1+1+1, which equals 4. The numbers being multiplied (one and four in this example) are called factors and the result of the multiplication is called the product. Multiplication can be performed in any order; 1 x 4 has the same product as 4 x 1. This property is known as the commutative property. Addition also adheres to this property, but subtraction and division do not.
