Several test review services offer online courses for preparing for the NCLEX, including Kaplan, Hurst and the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. All three offer materials as self-guided courses. Kaplan also offers an option featuring live online coursework.
The NCSBN's online course includes practice questions based on real NCLEX questions, self-check question banks and various other study tools. The source is available as a three, five, eight or 15 week subscription.
Hurst offers similar materials with the addition of pre-recorded lectures. The package includes a 90-day subscription to lectures on core content as well as a six or 12 month subscription to specialty topic lectures.
Kaplan's self-guided course includes similar materials to Hurt's course as a three month subscription. The live online class includes the same practice questions and study tools but with 21 hours of live, online class time.
