Founded in 1890, Washington State University was originally called Washington State Agricultural College and School of Science as well as State College of Washington before becoming Washington State in 1959. As of 2015, the college has four campuses located in Vancouver, the Tri-Cities, Pullman and Spokane, Washington. In addition, there are nine undergraduate and 12 graduate degree programs available to students online.
