Full Answer

Blackboard's teaching and learning courses focus on teaching educators how to use Blackboard features to enhance their own pedagogy. Beginning classes include Building, Enhancing Communications and Assessing Learners, while more advanced classes include Monitoring Student Performance, Building Online Communities and Designing Engaging Content.

The administration courses are split into two separate sections. The first section includes training for working with Blackboard's graphical user interface (GUI), and the second section includes training for managing the technical aspects of the Blackboard server. The offering of classes for GUI training includes Course Delivery, Community Engagement and Content Management, while the technical training classes include Server Administration Certification, Building Block Essentials and Integrations Framework.

In addition to courses on an individual basis, users can access courses as part of one of three training bundles, which can include online courses, in-person workshops or a mix of both types of classes. The teaching and learning courses and the administration courses are available in two separate certification programs, as well.
