A primary benefit of night school is that students who prefer a face-to-face classroom education can work during the day and go to class in the evening. Evening classes normally meet just a few nights a week as well, allowing scheduling flexibility on other evenings.
Many schools have smaller class sizes at night than they do during the day. This smaller class size allows for greater student interaction and attention from teachers. Night classes are also frequently more diverse than traditional day classes. This diversity includes age, gender and professional experience diversity, as well as conventional differences with respect to factors such as race and ethnicity.
