Full Answer

To apply for credit programs and courses, first check the application deadlines posted on the North Alberta Institute of Technology's website. Dates may differ from program to program. Fill out and submit an application through the Alberta Post-secondary Application System, and also pay the accompanying application fee. If the person applying attended school in Alberta, then the North Alberta Institute of Technology requests transcripts from the high school; otherwise, transcripts need to be sent to the institute in other ways. After application, a confirmation email is sent, and a Student Identification Number to access the MyNAIT Student Portal arrives.

Register for non-credit courses online through NAIT’s online payment system or MyNAIT portal with the student ID number. It's also possible to register by phone or in person. To apply for an apprenticeship, complete the Apprenticeship Application and Contract online and send it to the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Division of Alberta Innovation and Advanced Education. Finish by registering for training and creating a student web account.
