How Do You Apply to Lonestar College Online?

To apply for admittance to Lonestar Collage online, visit, and click the application button that fits your situation. Students who are new to Lone Star College can click Application for Admission and register for an account to access the online application. Students who enrolled more than two years ago must reapply using their existing login credentials.

Students who applied or enrolled less than two years prior update their information by clicking Go to MyLoneStar. Non-credit students do not need to apply, and can click Non-Credit Online Registration. The application asks for identifying information such as date of birth, gender and Social Security number. The SSN is optional, but is recommended for anyone planning to apply for financial aid. Ethnicity information is also voluntary. A page of questions for the college's research is also voluntary.

Next, select your primary academic goal from the dropdown menu, the term you wish to start courses, and the type of degree or certificate you plan to earn. If you have not yet decided, select Undecided.

On the Academic Major Search page, enter a keyword to see a list of majors and the campuses that offer them. You can also filter to show programs at a specific campus. Select a major and campus from the results list, if you have already decided. Fill in educational background information, such as your high school and any previous college you attended.

The Texas Residency Questionnaire establishes that you qualify as a Texas resident, which is necessary in order to continue applying for online courses. You must also electronically sign that you understand the requirement for a bacterial meningitis vaccination, say whether you intend to take only online courses, and sign the Financial Responsibility Agreement.
