Access the application page by going to JSUMS.edu, selecting Apply, and then clicking on the Undergraduate Application, Graduate Application or ESL Application links. Undergraduate applicants can only provide one application each semester. The university has a Personal Access to Web Services portal for applicants, and there is a link you can click to create an account.

In addition to providing the application, Jackson State University also requires you to provide high school transcripts if you are an incoming freshman, as well as official ACT or SAT scores and immunization records. The university website also lists the required prerequisite high school courses.

As a transfer student, you must submit the application and official high school transcripts and have good standing with your previous college or university. International students need to submit acceptable Test of English as a Foreign Language scores, provide a Certified Declaration of Financial Support and complete a student health form. English copies of all transcripts, mark sheets and diplomas are an additional requirement.
