Advanced placement biology labs are practical exercises that high school biology teachers can use in their AP biology classes. Prepared by the College Board, AP biology labs help students gain a better grasp of scientific concepts, prepare them to take exams and promote their critical thinking skills.
AP coursework gives students the opportunity to obtain a higher grade point average as the classes are more rigorous. Students who complete an AP class can take an examination at the course's end and receive college credit for their work. The College Board publishes free, downloadable AP biology lab manuals for students and teachers.
