What Is the Admission Process for Continuing Education at Seneca College?

The Seneca Faculty of Continuing Education and Training does not require application for programs; students instead register for individual courses. The three registration options available are express registration, registration for new students and registration for returning students. Students need online accounts with user names and passwords to register.

New students first look through Seneca's catalog of online courses. Each course has a Register button students can click to begin the process. Students next choose the Check Out button on the left side of the screen and then register under the New to Seneca designation.

Returning students follow similar steps, although they finish by logging in with their user IDs or student numbers under the Register Now designation. Express Registration enables students who know their class codes to register quickly without browsing through Seneca's course catalogs.

Once registration is complete, students receive both registration confirmation and fee receipts in their email accounts. Students can also register in person or via phone during the hours posted on the Seneca website.

Students also need to choose their learning modes. Courses are available in on-site, online, hybrid or correspondence formats. Students who are going into the English program must first take English assessment classes.
