DaVita pays students while they learn. A student must have a high school diploma or GED to qualify for entry. Students spend 400 hours of paid training and, upon completion, take a test to get a license to practice.
Anderson Medical Career College offers affordable dialysis technical training and is located in California. Students are exposed to hands-on training in real-life settings, including operating equipment, monitoring and managing patients, and taking the proper steps and precautions before and after treatment.
Fresenius Medical Care provides dialysis to patients. Like DaVita, it trains students who have high school diplomas or GED equivalents. Some background in the medical profession or work in a hospital setting is beneficial.
