How Do You Use the USPS Track and Manage Feature?

To use the USPS Track and Manage feature, visit the Track and Manage page on the USPS website, and enter the tracking number of any package shipped with services such as Certified Mail, Priority Mail and Registered Mail. Users can enter the tracking number of up to 35 packages.

Sign up for MY USPS services, which allows you to utilize even more options with the USPS Track and Manage feature. By signing up, you can view end-to-end tracking with up to 11 scans on each package sent. This gives you the opportunity to keep track of deliveries from pick-up right to final delivery, and you don't need a tracking number when utilizing MY USPS tracking service.

You can also receive text alerts on your mobile phone to get status updates on shipments. Select between receiving alerts for all shipment activity, or just when a delivery attempt has been made. It is also possible to text a tracking number to 28777 to receive the latest status when you're away from your computer. Your mobile phone carrier may charge standard message and data rates. The tracking service also allows you to provide additional delivery instructions for the mail carrier if the package arrives when you are not at home.
