To use U.S. Bank online banking, first register with its online banking website. The one-time enrollment process requires you to have a U.S. Bank card or account number and a personal identification number. Your Social Security number is also required. A series of dialog boxes guide you along the process till the last step where you are required to choose a unique personal identification ID and a password.
U.S. Bank online banking requires you to have one of the following: a U.S. Bank check/ATM card or credit card; a U.S. Bank checking, savings, loan, line, lease or mortgage account number; a U.S. Bank Ascent private capital management, the private client reserve or the private client group trust, agency, custody or IRA account number; or a U.S. Bankcorp investments brokerage account number.
An automated PIN for enrollment can be provided by U.S. Bank's support at 800-872-2657. A check card PIN is required if you do not have a PIN and are enrolling to view your business; this can be provided by your U.S. Bank branch. Next provide a unique personal ID and password to complete the process.
With online banking, you can view account balances, transfer money between bank accounts, set up accounts alerts and access online statements. You can also pay bills, send money and deposit checks from the comfort of your home or office.
