Update credit card information on your Bell CA account profile by logging in to My Bell, clicking My Profile, selecting Billing and Service Profile, selecting the Mobility tab, and then choosing Change next to method of payment. Fill in your credit card changes and click Submit, according to Bell Canada.
Additionally, selecting Bank Account instead of Credit Card for your method of payment allows you to use a checking account for paying your bill. Pre-authorized payments are automatically deducted from the account you choose. Processing a credit card payment takes up to seven calendar days, and processing a check takes up to 18 calendar days, states Bell Canada. Your monthly invoice details any changes to your account.
By submitting the change form, you are certifying the information is correct and the account is in good standing, with enough funds to cover your billing charges as they are due. Fees are applied to accounts with insufficient funds or incorrect credit card information that cause payments to default. Payments are only drawn from Canadian financial institutions, and they are withdrawn in Canadian funds. Cancelling pre-authorized payments does not cancel service by Bell Mobility, and you are liable for any amounts you owe, explains Bell Canada.
