United Way uses approximately 90 percent of its total expenditures on its charitable programs and services.

United Way is the largest privately funded nonprofit organization in the world. The organization assists people in 1,800 communities in more than 40 countries around the globe. United Way donors give approximately $5 billion each year.

United Way champions a variety of humanitarian causes, including improving education, assisting the financially needy, bringing communities together, and combating human trafficking and slavery.
