What Are Some Types of Engines Marketed by Teledyne Wisconsin?

Before being acquired, Teledyne Wisconsin specialized in industrial engines such as the V465E and W4-E1770. Many of these designs were air-cooled four-cylinder gasoline engines, though some also offered diesel and dual-fuel liquid propane and natural gas versions as well.

The Wisconsin Motor Company originally constructed water-cooled engines used in automobiles, farming equipment and many other applications, but had largely narrowed its focus to the industrial market by the time the company was acquired by congolomerate Teledyne. Teledyne later sold Teledyne Wisconsin and sister brand Continental to V&L Tool Company in 2001, and V&L continues to manufacture Wisconsin-branded engines and replacement parts for some older engines, as of 2016.
