Credio analyzes and assesses a combination of factors in order to determine the best banks. In addition to reviews and ratings made by bank customers, the site considers the return on investment that the banks provide as well as any fees that each bank may charge. They also look at the size of each bank, including how many off-site ATMs they provide to their customers.
In addition to the service and performance of each bank, Credio considers the financial security of each institution. Those banks with a long history of a good performance and low-risk behaviors tend to rank higher because they instill a higher level of customer trust.
In addition to customer reviews, Credio takes the JD Power bank ratings into consideration. JD Power bank ratings don't necessarily match the top ten banks listed on Credio, because the two use slightly different criteria to rank the banks. JD Power lists its banks according to the region of North America that they operate in, while Credio gives an overall listing of national averages.Learn more about Banks
