Successful registration for LifeProof requires going to the company Web page, entering the purchase date, uploading a photo of the receipt, and providing the program registration number from the TWPP registration card. In addition, the back case serial numbers from inside of the LP case must be entered, as well as a screenshot of the About page on the eligible device. The date on this image must be the same, or later, than the date on the receipt, as stated by LifeProof. If the date in the image is earlier, then registration for the program is denied.

If these steps are successfully completed, a confirmation email is generated, stating that the registration is complete. Unless this email is received, the device is not considered registered. Contacting LifeProof to resolve a missing confirmation email is the user's responsibility, as reported by LifeProof. Contact information is available on the company's registration page. Once the registration is complete, it cannot be transferred.
