The United Way brought in $3.87 billion in its fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2013, making it the largest charity in the United States. This was a 1.5 percent decrease from the year before. The Salvation Army brought in $2.08 billion in its fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2013. This was a 10.3 percent increase from the year before. Feeding America recorded $1.86 billion in its fiscal year ending June 30, 2013. This was a 22.8 percent increase from the previous year.
