As of March 2015, Green Dot no longer offers MoneyPaks for purchase. This prepaid service has been replaced by a new product, Green Dot Reload at the Register. Instead of purchasing these codes to reload prepaid cards, Reload at the Register requires customers to give their cash to the cashier and then scan the prepaid cards they wish to load. The funding arrives on the card within 10 minutes, and customers should always save their receipts and check the balance as soon as possible.
Green Dot Reload at the Register reloads cost $3.74 at Walmart and $4.95 at other retail reload locations, including Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General and Kmart. The service can also be used to deposit checks at select Walmart locations directly to prepaid debit cards, and this costs $6.74. Other options include depositing cash for use in making purchases at approved retailers via mobile phone, and planned upgrades include allowing customers to use Reload at the Register to fund their PayPal accounts.Learn more about Personal Banking
