Some of Spectre Performance's products are air intake systems and car and truck accessories. Established in 1983, Spectre designs unique and innovative car and truck parts using state-of-the-art testing equipment such as a chassis dynamometer, a Super-Flow flow bench and other scientific laboratory equipment to ensure that its products are of high quality.
Spectre sells muscle car, cold air intake systems that increase car performance by having their intake inlets positioned far from heat sources such as headers and radiators, thereby providing plentiful cool air to the engines. These air intake systems are made of high quality 4-inch diameter aluminum tubes that are highly polished. Among Spectre's air intake systems are single plenum kits, dual plenum kits, LSx swap kits and throttle body injections, and carb air boxes for V6 and V8 engines.
Spectre also makes high quality accessories for engines, interiors and exteriors, exhaust tips and drivetrains, as well as for fuel systems, ignition and wiring systems, and cooling systems. These include fuel lines, filters, hoses, fittings and adapters, as well as a variety of chrome hardware accessories such as valve covers, braided steel hose covers and oil pans.
Spectre Performance products are used in the car restoration and car racing industry. The company claims to have developed the world's first gasoline-powered, wheel-driven car to reach speeds of more than 400 miles per hour.
