Office Depot's rewards program merged with Office Max's MaxPerks program, as of 2015. If you had an Office Depot rewards account, you do not need to sign up for a new membership. If you have a MaxPerks account and made a purchase within the last two years, you can transfer your membership to the new Office Depot program online.

Earn 10 percent back on rewards points for purchases of paper, ink, toner, and copying, printing and shipping services when you present your card or enter your phone number or email address at the time of purchase. You can also add a purchase later through your online account. You can also earn rewards for recycling ink and toner cartridges.

When you reach 1,000 points, you receive a $10 rewards certificate in your online account. Certificates are valid for 30 days. Points not converted into rewards certificates expire each calendar quarter. You also receive special offers and coupons and a bonus reward for your birthday. The rewards membership program is free for customers.
