Automatic payments for credit cards from Credit Acceptance can be set up online through the official Credit Acceptance website. The Payment Options link provides card holders with options to pay online either one time or by automatic deduction, as well as by phone, mail or at in-person locations.
When the "Payment Options" page of Credit Acceptance is accessed, click the button with the option "Set Up Automatic Payments," and the service will lead cardholders through the process. There is no fee to set up automatic payments, but those looking to make a one-time payment will be subject to a $3 fee. Credit Acceptance also allows cardholders to access their credit card account via their bank, and provides instructions on how to set up recurring payments through a personal bank. There may be fees associated with the payment selection, depending on the bank.
For cardholders who do not have access to a computer, in-person, mail and telephone payments are other options offered by Credit Acceptance. In-person payments are free if paid through an official Credit Acceptance location, otherwise payments made a locations such as a Western Union, will be subject to fees. Both mail and phone payments also have associated fees ranging from $4 to $10.
