A+ School Rewards, online ordering, Scan It and delivery and pick-up of orders at select locations are some of the services that Stop&Shop offers its customers. The company specializes in self-service shopping and is one of the largest grocery store chains in southern New England.
The company's Scan It service allows shoppers to pick up a handheld scanner when they enter the store and then scan and bag all of the items they select while shopping. Customers simply pay the total at the checkout stand and are on their way. Stop&Shop also has a Scan It mobile app for Android and iPhone that does the same thing but also lets users keep track of shopping totals, purchase history, grocery lists as well as get in-store discounts and e-coupons on their phones while they shop.
Customers can also do all of their shopping online, then go the store to pick up and pay for their pre-bagged order. Online shoppers that use a Stop&Shop with the Peapod service can have orders delivered to their homes.
The school rewards program lets shoppers accumulate points with purchases using their Stop&Shop cards. Customers can select up to two schools to receive their rewards. At the end of each month Stop&Shop calculates the total points accumulated to determine how much cash the schools receive.
