Bancomer branches in Southern California offer cash deposit and withdrawal services, loan application processing and safe deposit boxes. As of 2015, there are over 25 Bancomer locations in California.
Bancomer operates three types of branches in Southern and Northern California. The full service branches accept cash deposits, and process, open and close loan accounts. These branches feature a loan officer and full-time banking staff during normal business hours.
Similar to the full service branch, the full-service retail branches also accept deposits, make loans, open and close accounts, calculate deposit and loan rates, and employ a full-time banking staff. However, these offices are located in supermarkets or department stores and may not provide safe deposit boxes.
The third type of office is called a limited service administrative branch. As a management office, these branches do not process any deposits or loans.
Bancomer owns offices in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, San Francisco County, Santa Clara County and Ventura County. The company is headquartered in Madrid, Spain, and employs more than 10,000 people worldwide. It serves more than 18 million customers around the world and is the second largest bank in Spain, as of 2015.
