On the domestic equity side, the company offers 155 research professionals and 88 fund managers, according to Fidelity. In addition, Fidelity provides access to certain investment materials, including market volatility flyers, statements on index returns, guides on active management and new insights. Investment advisers provide services and group funds into categories including value, core, growth and capital appreciation. Value focuses on securities that are not accurately reflected in the marketplace. Core funds come with less risk compared to investing solely in stocks. Growth funds focus on companies with above-average earnings potential. Capital appreciation funds focus on securities that have a track record of a consistent price increase.
With regard to international equity, Fidelity offers roughly 220 equity research professional and seven international investment offices. Fidelity helps clients achieve investment and business objectives by harnessing deep and diverse capabilities. Funds are grouped into categories including international, global, regional and emerging markets. Fund managers monitor the activity for each group, which invest in both U.S. and non-U.S. equities.
