As of 2015, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, formerly called Princess Margaret Hospital, offers a variety of specialized cancer services, including clinics for leukemia, red blood cell disorders, benign hematology, gynecology and ocular oncology. The facility contains the largest radiation treatment center in Canada.
The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre also offers patient support programs, such as spiritual care, health classes, palliative care, accessibility services and the National Eating Disorder Information Centre. The facility offers both inpatient and outpatient treatments, and it contains 130 inpatient beds and more than 350,000 square feet of research space. More than 3,000 staff members assist 400,000 patients annually.
