Funds transferred online or through a mobile device may be sent with a debit or credit card. With 'same day' money transfers, funds are typically available for pick-up at the receiver's nearest MoneyGram location within 10 minutes. 'Account deposit' transfers are typically released within three business days and deposited to the designated receiver's account.
Funds sent from a U.S. bank account via 'Economy' transfer are typically available for pick-up as cash at the preferred MoneyGram location within three days of the transfer; the 'account deposit' option is also available. The 'home delivery' of funds may also be an option for recipients.
All transactions are assigned a Reference Number to track the funding. Persons sending money at MoneyGram locations should have their identification with them; receivers should also bring photo ID when picking money up.
Customers may locate the nearest MoneyGram retailer by selecting the 'Find a location' tool from the MoneyGram homepage.
