New users can send money through Ria money transfer by first determining the amount of money being sent and the destination for the transfer. Users should also select the payment method for the transfer, notes Ria. Then the user selects the money's delivery method and enters the recipient's information. Finally the user selects how and where the money is transferred and registers.
A previously registered user should log in to the established account, select the recipient and click Quick Send, explains Ria. The user can edit transfer details and click Submit to complete the transfer. Users can fund transfers with a debit or credit card, or with a bank account.
In order to complete a transfer, a user must enter the recipient's first and last name as well as his phone number or email address. Ria delivers money to recipients by transferring it into the recipient's bank account or via courier delivery. In addition, recipients can pick up money transfers in cash at one of Ria's agent locations.
A transfer that sends money via debit or credit card is processed in 15 minutes on average, states Ria. If a customer sends money via his bank account, the transfer is processed in approximately four days from the time the customer verifies the microdeposits Ria places in his bank account. Money transfers may be slowed depending on financial institutions' processing times. In addition, if Ria conducts a security review or flags the transfer for security reasons, the transfer process is slowed down.
