Kepler.SOS.CA.Gov is a website provided through the California Secretary of State, who charters corporations in California. Click the Corporation Name check box beneath the Search Type heading about midway down the main page, and then enter the company name in the Entity Name search box. Click the Search button to display the company, and then click on the company to display information such as the company's entity number, address, registered agent and current status with the Secretary of State's office.

At Manta.com, click the Find a Business tab near the top of the main page, and then enter the company name in the search box on the left. In the search box on the right, enter the name of the city where the business is located followed by "CA," and then click the Go button to display the listing. Click the business name to display details of the business such as the address, phone number, SIC code, NAICS code, and estimates of the company's annual revenue and number of employees.
