The Advanced Job Search feature allows job seekers to search for jobs on CareerLink based on the type of employer, industry, working limits and geographical location. The Employer text field is used to search for a specific company or employer rather than providing search results for the entire job market.
The Industry option allows job seekers on CareerLink to narrow down their search to a specific industry such as automotive, airlines, construction, catering and engineering. The Limit To check box helps job seekers find jobs that suit their preferred working limits. It helps them locate part-time, internship, contractual, volunteering and seasonal jobs, among others. The By Geography option allows job seekers to search for jobs within a particular geographical location. It also displays physical state maps for reference and directions.
Job seekers on CareerLink can create an account, update their profiles and connect with potential employers. After creating the account, they are able to receive regular job updates from CareerLink via email.
