The Schneider trucking company was founded in 1935. At that time, A.J. Schneider sold the family car and used the money to purchase his first truck.
By 1938, Schneider had incorporated his business and moved his office into an old building once used to house horses. Besides a trucking company, Schneider's was a storage company, and Schneider didn't take to interstate travel until 1958. He went on to haul freight for large companies such as Proctor & Gamble, and in 1964, the company merged with Packer City Transport.
The company prides itself on safe driving and in 2014, its 179 drivers reached a milestone by driving 3 million consecutive miles without an accident.
