SAP experience refers to familliarity with human resources tracking software made by the German company SAP. SAP is a type of human resource information system that allows users to create an electronic file for each employee that contains all the information related to that employee’s time with the business.
Some of the information tracked by SAP includes the employee’s career path, promotion history, eligibility for benefits, personal details and placement on a company pay scale. The software also allows users to generate reports so that they can analyze employee trends, such as preferences concerning health benefit packages and paid time off, as well as examine profitability by department.
