A rewards catalog is a listing of merchandise that an individual can acquire by redeeming membership or loyalty points. Various companies offer such programs in which consumers can accrue points through purchases.
The merchandise available from rewards catalogs include iPods, Pyrex dishes, airline miles and gift cards from major retailers. Many banks, such as Bank of America and Wells Fargo, offer rewards programs to credit card holders. As the cardholders use their credit cards, they accrue points.
Major companies, such as Coca-Cola and Pampers, also offer rewards programs. In this instance, consumers accrue points by redeeming codes listed on the companies products. The companies also may also allow consumers to accrue points through other activities, such as completing product reviews.
