The marketing department is typically led by a vice president or a director. This person is responsible for reviewing the business strategy and objectives of an organization and determining which marketing tactics make the most sense to help the company meet these goals. The team may also include content developers, social media managers, marketing analysts, business development representatives, website designers and product-specific marketing personnel.
