Additionally, vehicle information, including license plate number, make and model, year and vehicle type, is required for each individually owned or leased vehicle being registered for an E-Z Pass.

E-Z Pass requires an initial prepayment with the submission of the E-Z Pass Application, as well as a selected future payment option. These options include voluntarily replenishing the E-Z Pass Application with a registered credit card, automatically replenishing your balance through your checking account or paying in-person or by mail with cash or check.

If applying for an E-Z Pass Application as a business, a separate application specifically for business applicants should be filled out and submitted. Basic information, such as the last four digits of the business's federal ID number and company billing and shipping information, is required. E-Z Pass requires business applicants to submit full vehicle information on each of the vehicles under current company ownership, including those which may not be receiving an E-Z Pass tag at the present time.
