Individual real estate license renewals are valid for three years. The OREC requires that you complete any continuing education, submit the renewal form, and pay the fee before your current license expires. Fees vary depending on your broker status and if your license is active, inactive or suspended. If you submit your renewal application after the tenth day of the month in which your license expires, you must pay an additional $10 penalty, as of 2015.

OREC provides a downloadable copy of the renewal form on their official website. To complete the form, you must provide your contact information, Social Security number and real estate license number. You also must disclose any criminal history, pending charges or real estate license revocations.

OREC requires that real estate corporations or other businesses file for a renewal using the License Renewal Form for Corporation, Partnership, Branch Office and Association (LLC). A renewal lasts for three years, and the same late penalty charge applies for late filers.
