To register a Moen product, fill out the product registration form on Moen's support site. U.S. warranty forms are available in English and Spanish, and Canadian warranty forms are available in English and French. Creating an account on Moen's site is not necessary for product registration.
Product registration is not necessary to obtain warranty service on Moen products, but Moen recommends it for faster assistance. Moen guarantees its products in two ways, offering a lifetime warranty for homeowners and a set warranty term for other purchasers.
Its lifetime warranties on shower heads and faucets last for as long as the original purchaser owns the home where the product is installed. This warranty term ends early if the home is sold to another owner; this new owner is not covered by Moen's lifetime warranty. Non-homeowner purchasers, including commercial and industrial clients, have a warranty term of five years from the date of purchase.
Moen sinks, digital products, parts and accessories do not use the same warranty structures that faucets and shower heads do. Sinks carry the same lifetime warranty for homeowners, but Moen's non-homeowner warranties are available in five, 10 and 15-year terms. Parts carry a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. Moen Digital products are only covered by the lifetime warranty for the homeowners who purchase them, while bath accessories are warrantied for the life of the product regardless of home ownership.
