As of 2015, Credit One Bank credit cards are available even to applicants who have a history of credit problems and to those with little credit history, notes Credit One Bank. Consumers who receive a pre-approved mail offer can finish the application process online or by phone.
The credit card's main website has a Get Pre-Qualified link that determines which card may best suit the potential customer, according to Credit One Bank. The link also indicates that determining if a person pre-qualifies does not impact his credit score. To fill out the application online, users must provide personal information such as their name, address and Social Security number. Applicants must also provide their monthly income and current employer's phone number.
Failure to provide the correct information might result in not being approved. Customers who fill out the application can receive a response in as little as 60 seconds, explains Credit One. Some applications take longer, and the credit card company provides a link to check the card's application status. Consumers can also call the company’s toll-free number to check on the status of the application. However, a consumer cannot email the company regarding the status of his card or send personal information via email to see if he qualifies, according to Credit One Bank.
