The PowerUp Pro membership has a yearly fee, while the PowerUp Basic membership is free. Pro members receive additional rewards points with each purchase. They also get discounts on certain types of items. A customer can sign up for either program at any participating GameStop store, then activate his card online.
GameStop has an Epic Rewards Giveaway, where winners get a trip to a special event, such as Comic-Con. Members receive a specific amount of entries with each purchase, with the amount based on their membership program. Members can only receive entries with one purchase per day.
Additional activities that earn rewards points include a member activating his online profile, setting up his gaming preferences, filling out his game library and completing online surveys. Points can only be used by the member who has the account. Points expire if the card is not used for a year. Redemption options for reward points include gift cards and coupons.Learn more about Coupons & Sales
