The newest product in Royal Crown Cola's lineup is the RC Cola Neo, which was introduced in 2013. This product uses a combination of cane sugar and stevia to reduce the number of calories per serving while still creating a great taste.
Royal Crown Cola was first established under the name Union Bottling Works in 1905 by pharmacist Claud A. Hatcher. The company's first beverage product was Royal Crown Ginger Ale, which was followed by Chero-Cola in 1910. Union Bottling Works changed its name to Nehi Corporation in 1928, taking on the name of one of its popular soft drinks. The company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in the same year. As of 2015, Royal Crown Cola International is owned by Cott Corporation and distributes its products to more than 60 countries around the world.
