The OneTouch brand of blood glucose monitoring systems provides a comprehensive testing platform for patients with diabetes, according to LifeScan. As of 2015, the brand's line of meters and pumps include the OneTouch Verio Meter, Verio IQ, Verio Sync, UltraMini and Ping, reports OneTouch. Several control solutions and test strips are available for the Ultra and Verio lines as well.
The OneTouch Verio Meter provides blood glucose test results and lets users know via a color-coded circle if the results are low, in range or high, according to OneTouch. The Verio Meter also shows progress notes by comparing recent results with past tests. The Verio test strips only require a small sample size and blood, which the user applies on either side of the strip.
The OneTouch Ping includes an insulin pump and a meter-remote, notes the company. The fully functional insulin pump is waterproof up to 12 feet for a whole day and comes with a high contrast screen, while the meter-remote includes a customizable food database for reliable carbohydrate counts. The meter-remote also uses OneTouch Ultra test strips that check blood samples twice.
