The United States Postal Service offers mail delivery six days per week, with the exception of Sundays. Mail is delivered to both residential and business properties each day from Monday through Saturday.
There are 10 postal holidays in 2014 on which the United States Postal Service does not deliver mail. A list of these holidays can be found at USPS-Holidays.com. Additionally, for a short time in 2013, the Postal Service said that it planned to deliver only packages, mail-order medicines, Priority Mail and Express Mail on Saturdays. These plans were put on hold by the Consolidated and Furthering Continuing Appropriations Act, which passed in 2013.
