The standard holiday closure schedule for the Federal Reserve System includes New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day. It also includes Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day and Christmas Day. Federal Reserve Banks stay open the preceding Friday for a holiday falling on Saturday, but close on the following Monday for a holiday falling on Sunday.Learn more about Banks
