To begin the license search, select the Verify License links from the MyFloridaLicense home page. To find a specific business or practicing professional, search the DBPR database either for the entity's name or license number. For a list of all Florida businesses or professionals operating in a given city or county, search by location and use the license type to narrow the search. Through the mobile DBPR application for Android and iOS devices, users can search the DBPR database by entity name or license number.

In addition to business licenses, the DBPR makes public records pertaining to licensed businesses and practicing professionals available on its site. Records are categorized by business industry, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco, hotels and restaurants, real estate, and parimutuel betting. The DBPR also makes available records of complaints against businesses for unlicensed activities. These records are categorized by year and provide basic information relating to the complaint, including date and the business name.
