Some Peace Corps jobs for seniors are available in areas such as medical and program support, new volunteer recruitment, overseas office management, and administrative services. Volunteer opportunities are also available to senior citizens. As of 2015, the Peace Corps has more than 500 volunteers over the age of 50.
The Peace Corps does not have an upper age limitation for applicants, and the medical evaluation is the same for every age. It pays medical expenses for its volunteers. Volunteers are also eligible for private coverage through CorpsCare up to 18 months after their service ends. If stationed overseas, Peace Corps offices maintain medical records for its volunteers while they are there.
