As of 2015, a customer can pay a bill online by navigating to RepublicServices.com and selecting Pay Bill from the menu. To initiate a payment, registering for online bill pay through the My Resource customer portal is required.
Registering for a My Resources account gives access to past and current bills, localized weather updates and enables the customer to set up automatic recurring automatic bank withdrawals. However, making a one-time payment is an option too. Customer service help and instructions for deciphering a bill are also available on RepublicServices.com. This website is accessible from any device, any time and provides other methods for bill-pay such as by phone, by bank or by regular mail.
The My Resources customer accounts are a new addition to Republic Services. Returning customers using the Legacy Bill Pay Portal are encouraged to switch over, if eligible, to the new system. It offers a more intuitive interface, additional ways to manage and view bills and is expected to replace the Legacy Portal.
