The EFTPS is a secure government website that allows you to make your federal tax payments for form 941, explains the IRS. You must have a secure Internet browser with 128-bit encryption in order to gain access to the system. Log on using your taxpayer identification number, your PIN number and your password. You are able to make payments 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also schedule payments up to 365 day in advance, and those scheduled payments can be cancelled or changed up to two business days in advance of the payment date.
The EFTPS portal can be used to make federal tax payments that include income tax, employment tax and estimated tax, reports the IRS. You can also review up to 16 months of payment history online through the EFTPS portal.
